Lincoln County Election. The following is the result of the election in this county on the 6th lnst. The reader will observe that the whole Conservative ticket is elected except Messrs Quigley and Jameson. Messrs. Cake and Martin, the old Clerks, who have served the people of the county so long and faithfully, are both re-elected by handsome majorities. The registered vote in the county was over 1,000, the whole vote polled falls short nearly or quite 100 votes. No hon est man can doubt that Lincoln county can poll from 1,600 to 1,800 votes, when the registry law and infamous test oath is repealed, and men go and vote as they used to before the war, and with such a vote there is a good democratic majority in the county of over 600 votes. Without indulging in further remarks about the result in the county and the men who have been elected to go up Salt River,we will only say that their registry law was greased a little too much as they al slipped off but two. We wish them much joy in their voyage up that snly stream, it School Superintendent, F A Parker, Rad. 480 maj y JF: Williams, Dem: 483— Congress: Wm F Switzler Dem: 483 Geo W Anderson, Radical 481—2 F State Senator Wm B Adams: Radical 481 RB Campbell Dem: 4x3—2 For Represntative 8S DP Cannon Radical 468 R Wommack Dew: ATTI—9 For Sheriff Wm Colbert Radical 480 S R Woolfolk Dem: 442—7 Justices County Court. 8 F Ingraham Radical 184 Jas Willson Radical ASI Samuel Howell Rad 437 SR Moxley Dem 401 M.L.Lovelleg ae = TW Jameson Dem 176 Tt will be seen by an examination of the vote that the County Court Judges are M.
