P^rk rd., LaGrange.Assisting Mrs. Shakely' will be Mrs. G. O. Robertson of Clarendon Hills and Mrs. JamesWiese of LaGrange Park.Mrs. Anne Kelley, a resident of Western Springs and a lec-ture-demonstrator * for Illinois Bell Telephone Company will present* the program, ‘'Jewels for a Queen.” She will display authentic replicas of some of the world’s most famous stones, and will describe mining, cutting, and polishing of diamonds.In addition to the Telephone Company progrhm, Mrs. Claire Forester will have on display a large selection of jewelry that can be ordered for Christmas. Many new and unusual pieces have been added to the Hill-crestv line and the group maintains1 an eager interest in the sale of the jewelry as a fund raising project.Mrs. George Robertson, president, will give a report on the first Illinois Chi Omega State Day, Oct. 20, at Champaign. Five members of the alumnae group attended the luncheon, program and open house at the University of Illinois chapter house.
