Fire of undetermined origin, spread by a strong wind, swept through the Nathan Hole farmstead southeast of here early today de stroying the house, barn, garage and most of the contents. There was no immediate esti mate of the loss, which was re ported partially covered by insur ance. The Chanute fire department was summoned at 3:06 a.m. and re mained at the scene until 5:35 a.m. but was unable to save any of the buildings. Firemen said only a few household articles were removed from the home, built about two years ago. Other losses included 1956 and 1957 model cars, a self-propelled combine, miscellaneous tools and farm machinery and feed. The Hole farm is about four miles southeast of Chanute.
