The Artistic. Cosmetologists and Hair Dressers' Association of southern Illinois held a style show and card party last eve ning at the Moose Lodge. Lucille Howard, of Taylorville, a member of the Hair-Style Body served as commentator. The models, advancing from the ‘pin curl stage” to lovely hair styles for every occasion—proved that the casual out door style is as lovely in its way as the high styled glamorous creations for special occasions. Dorothy Cockrum furnished a pleasant musical background of piano selections during the show. The models included Nadine Gorham, Hannah Hirchoeffer and Melba Keinaus, Nashville, Ill, Bertha Didier, Laura Lee Fox, Martha Johnson, Elizabeth George, Eleanor Eaton, Reba Bartel, Ruby Rhime, Marilyn Grigg, Leona Schoeder, Nina Atchison and Mary Lou Ramsey all of Centralia; Mrs. Francis Collins and daughters, Becky and Cathy; Mrs. Gilbert Wood, Lin da Lou Buskool, Vicky Lynn French, Mrs. Joe Sunderland, Miss Lena Pool, Miss Ada Sue Crosnoe, Lillian Burgess, Cuma Cook, Mrs. Lee Hess, Mrs. Ann ette Marvin, Judy Cecil, Mrs. Marvin Clemons and Bernice Fagan all of the King City. Following the style show, the remainder of the evening was spent playing cards with numer ous and beautiful prizes award ed to those with highest scores. A special prize went to Vir ginia Clark—as the guest from the greatest distance. She is a resident of Eileen, Texas. Refreshments were serewd.
