V. of F. W. To Hold Meeting At Court House, Nov. 10thThe Posi will meet at the Court House here at 3:00 p. m., Saturday, November 10th, to conduct a memorial service to which all veterans and the public are invited. Judge Grover C. Boner, Birmingham, Judge Advocate General, Dept, of Alabama, V. F. W., and George D. Kelly. Jr., Fairfield, Vice Commander and Adjutant will speak.At a regular meeting of Cullman Co. Post No. 2214 Veterans of Foreign Wars, held at the county court house, Sunday, Oct. 28, 1945, the following resolution was adopted.Because Armistice Day, Nov. 11, falls on Sunday, the Veterans of Foreign Wars request every church in Cullman county, irrespective of race or creed, hold as part of their Sunday morning sendees, a .memorial exercise to commemorate those who have made the supreme sacrifice. Each minister is requested to call the names of each service man or woman from his church who died in battle or from other causes.Memorial Committee.
