V. of F. W. To Hold Meeting At Court House, Nov. 10thThe Fosi will meet at the Courl House here at 3:00 p. m., Saturday November 10th, to conduct a memorial service to which all veterans and the public are invited. Judg€ Grover C. Boner, Birmingham Judge Advocate General, Dept, ol Alabama, V. F. W., and George T Kelly, Jr., Fairfield, Vice Commander and Adjutant will speak.At a regular meeting of Cullman Co. Post No. 2214 Veterans of Foreign Wars, held at the county court house, Sunday, Oct 23, 1945, the following resolution was adopted.Because Armistice Bay, Nov. 11. falls on Sunday, the Veterans oi Foreign Wars request every church in Cullman county, irrespective oi race or creed, hold as part oi their Sunday morning sendees, s .memorial exercise to commemorate those who have made the supreme sacrifice. Each minister is requested to call the names ol each service man or woman from his church who died in battle oi from other causes.Memorial Committee.
