Adelina Otero Warren, county superintendent has received from New,York headquarters the appointment as vice chairman for the Victory boys and Victory girls of the archdiocese of Santa Fe. The young people included in this branch of the war work of the Catholic church will II | pledge themselves to earn money by their own effort* and contribute it to the united war service fund.Mersrs. Carlysle and Gibson, district organizer and director, respectively, addressed a meeting attended by E. J Roth superintendent of the schooh, Scout Master Lee S. Miller. Rev. Trowbridge. Rev. J. W. Hamblin. Father I.e Guillon, and teacher* including Bernice Bowman, Helen Winter. Mrs. Melvin Dunlavy, T. P McCoIlister. Clara Bocke. and Mr*. George H. Van Stone who ha* charge of the Girl Scouts for the county. Felipe Quintana, Lucy Knight, and Joe Silva will assist in the organization.Boys and girls under 18 are eligible to join and the motto of the ,r|organization is. one boy or girl be-:.yjPSr.rtwilltlhind each soldier in the army
