oviv uduvuo«SLOWLY CUT TO PIECES.A Kansas City, Mo., despatch says : To be slowly cut to pieces was the cruel fate that befell Foreman C. M. Pliall, of the Diamond 'Elevator, while he was taking in the slack of a wire cable wThich w'ouud around an iron drum and drew* cars up an incline. His arm was caught betwreen the cable and drum. The cable began to slowly coil about; his body. His hand was cut off first and dropped to the floor. Then the cable cut through the body in several places and his legs fell to the floor. Horrified, his fellow-workmen watched him die. Phall’s brother stood beside the drum powerless to aid him. When the drum was sfopped Phall’s body had been cut to pieces, and mangled limbs and chunks of flesh lay in a pool of blood on the floor.
