BOGUS W HI TEC A P KILLED.A Harrisburg, Pa., despatch says : Apeculiar tragedy occurred at Wiscon-isco, this county, last night. John R. (Engelbert, manager of a coal carn-pany in Tennessee, had been visiting his former home at Wisconisco. He had been out riding last evening with a party of ladies, and left them at Eliza-bethville. Eater he started towards MilleTsburg, and about 10 o'clock approached the house of Uriah Koppern-heffer, at Rife. He demanded admittance, but was refused and was told by Edward Koppcnlieffer that he would be shot unless he went away.During the controversy the door was opened aiid Engelbert, who wore a cap made of a white handkerchief, rushed in, shouting, * T am a Whiffecap !” Kop-penheffer, thinking he was a burglar, fired and Engelbert fell dead. He leaves a wife and two children.
