A BABY BLOSSOM BLASTED. The Death of Paul, the Two Year Old Boy of Mr. and Mrs. James Agnew. Little Paul, the two year old baby boy of Mr. and Mrs. James Agnew, died at five o'clock last evening of membraneous croup. All day Friday Little Paul was playing about the house in seemingly perfect health. Toward evening it was noticed that Paul was somewhat hoarse and his mother applied some home remedies. When his father came home Friday ight the little boy raised up from his cot and kissed his father good night. Yesterday morning Mr. Agnew was awakened quite early by the heavy breathing of the little boy. He at once aroused his wife and a physician was sent for. The doctor looked at little Paul and shook his head. ‘‘Membra nous croup,” he said. Later a council of physicians was held, and nothing that medical skill could do was left un done. But just as the clocks had finish ed striking the hour of five the cold fingers of the Angel of Death closed over the pure white lily of babyhood and severed all the ties that bound it to this earth.
