A delegation from the School Board met tiie council to consider a joint [procedure in planting trees, round • the municipal hall and adjoining the ! school grounds the plan to be part oi a scheme of memorials to the heroes ot the war.Councillor Melander and Trustee Jackson were entrusted finally with the purchase and planting of suitable trees at once. Trees' will be obtained fiom the Alder grove nurseries ii they are found to be suitable.
