Sl « Nov. 3 Maynard Darnall of Huntington, Ind., came Thursday evening for a short visit, ‘ Mrs. Angeline Brittian went to Bloomingdale, Thursday to visit a few days with Mrs. Anna Bennett. Gladys James who is attending Nor mal at Terre Haute and Herbert Scott who is at Bloomington are home for a visit with home folks. Miss Mildred Jordan, who has been visiting in Shelbyville, returned home Monday. Mrs. Caroline Turner returned Thursday evening from Indianapolis where she has been for three weeks. Louis Porter and Inez Adams were married Wednesday at Paris. Mrs. F.C. Railsback returned to her home in South Bend, Monday, after visiting her parents. A. A. Ma hen and wife for two weeks, Leslie Hiddle and Iva Ingram were married Tueday at Danville, 11. Schools of this place were closed the last of the week, on account of teachers attending the State Asso ciation. Mrs. Chas. Grazier and son Fred of Clinton came Wednesday for a visit with relatives. The Pythian Sisters of this place attended the Thursday evening meet ing attired in Hallowe’en costume re minding the M. E C., Mrs. Carrie Aldrich ,that it was her birthday. About thirty five enjoyed the gaiety and fun of the evening. I. B. Lowry spent Sunday with his daughter, D. Emma in Indianapolis. Dorothy Jordan came home Thurs day evening for an over Sunday visit. Claude Malone, wife and daughter, and Mrs. Fred Ferris were in Terre Flante last Friday. Mesdames Effie Shephard and Lillie Thompson were in Terre Haute last Thursday. The Mothers Club were entertained by their husbands at a weiner roast Thursday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Russell. Six teen couples enjoyed the fun. Mrs. Belle Myers visited her sister Mrs Edna Burroughs of Newport ver ay. F. W. Gilbert and wife went to In dianapolis Tuesday evening to visit their daughter, Fern, who is attend ing Mrs. Blakers college of that place Mrs. Bert Bush of Edgar, Hll., is visiting at the home of Harley Adams The two year old daughter of Clare Fisher and wife died Friday evening. Mrs. W. E. Crawford who was re cently operated on, is getting along nicely. Roy Conklin and wife of Gillette, Wyo., are the parents of fine baby boy, Rupert Sylvester.
