They were arrested as they were leaving Sowers.Underwood came from his recent home, in West Virginia, to his father's residence, near Sowers, October 20. He was very ill, and was accompanied by his wife and a stranger. Sunday Underwood died, and Wednesday his widow married the man who accompanied them from West Virginia. The suspicion of the authorities were aroused, and as the couple were leaving the town, they were arrested upon tin? charge of murder and confined in Floyd County jail.
