Carl Nolen.Carl, the 17.year old son of Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Nolen, and said to be one of the brightest and best lads of the Sylvarena neighborhood, died on lapt Saturday evening at the family home six miles west of town, after a three weeks’ attack of typhoid fever. The young man was well known ia town, having beeu a student at the McIntosh Training School, *nd was much esteemed by his associates and the teachersThe devoted parents and other relatives have the sympathies ol rniny friends in their sa l bereav-ment. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon, Rev. J. A. McKib' bon officiating, and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at Salem church.
