W. Swayne, near Shirleysburg, this county, is progressing as rapidly as the danger-I ous condition of the soil will permit. I One tuss, 4 ft 7 in. in length, aud the base of which is Id in. iucireum-I ference aud hollow to a depth of 8 h in., besides two molars weighing five -pounds each, several ribs aud a por- . tiou of a vertebra* have been uncov- J ered. All the bones are in an excellent state of preservation. It is I believed the entire skeleton will be |found.
