SUDDKN DEATH.Santa Fe baa sustained a great loss. E. ( N. Reaser, nne of the most enterprising and progressive business man of this city, passed into the mysterious realm of the great majority about seven o’clock, this morning. His sudden death was unquestionably due to serious internal injuries sustained, on Thursday night, when he fell through a trap door that had been lelt open in the back part of his store. Yet he seemed to be recovering from the effects of the fall up to within an hour of his deatii and his attendants little dreamed that the end was so near. The deceased was about 40 years old, and, during the past eight years, has been engaged in the wholesale grocery, grain, and produce business here. IJefore coming to Santa Fe he was several years station agent of the Denver A Bio Grande at Antonito and prior to that time was in the grain business in Chicago. He leaves a widow, but‘no children. Mrs. Reaser, who has been visiting in Missouri for some time, was summoned home by wire this morning, and will probably reach this city, on Tuesday. The body has been embalmed by Undertaker Grigg and arrangements for the funeral will be deferred until the arrival of the bereaved widow.
