Two of the willow pond ditchers wore in town last Friday in search of one Andy Harris, whom they charge with collecting certain moneys due them from the ditch contractors, and appropriating said money to his own use. At latest account Harris had not been found.The suit of^Gilbcrt, of Evansville, versus the Corporation of Eockport, tried in the United States Court, was decided by Judge Gresham against Rock port. The decision is regarded here as a righteous one. The debt is a honest one and ought to be paid, to the uttermost farthing.Seven persons were baptised by Rev. West, of the Second ColoredBaptist Church, in the river, at the upper landing last Sunday evening.
