The steamer Delia arrived on Saturday night last from St. John’s, ‘ She brings dates to the 2a instant. co, : The Supreme Court, met at St. John’s,. The Chief Justice, Brady, congratulated the Grand Jury on the almost entire absence of crime, there being but one case of larceny for the last six months. . . A telegraph to the Day Book, at Long Harbor, Fortuse Bay, reports a quarrel on board a schooner at Fox Cove, between two men named Poole and Whelan, which resulted in the shooting of Whelan and his brother, by Poole.The latter has been arrested.
