MARYLEBONE.’The Fifth of November on Hampstead-heath.— William Odwcll, a stableman, of Brew bo use-lane, Hampstead, was charged with setting tire to the furze on Hampstead-heath.! It appeared from the evidence of Police-constable 413 S,I that hei was on duty on the heath on Monday eight for the | express purpose of preventing bonfires, or the setting fire to the furze. He saw the prisoner light a fucifer match, and then ignite a large piece of paper, with which ho set light to a clump of furze. After be had lit it he put his hands inhis pocket, and turned bis back to the fire to warm himself.
