H. Neely. MRS. R. B. MAGEE IS BRIDGE HOSTESS Mrs. Ross Berry Magee was hostess to members of the 1931 Bridge club and several other guests at a delightful party giv en at her home Friday afternoon. Mrs. L. R. Magee scored high in the games of bridge and Mrs. Bill Crawford received the “gal loping” favor. The home was at tractively decorated with roses. A salad course was served to Mesdames J. C. Randell, J. S. Gil liland, Lawrence Powell, Bill Crawford, T. B. Simmons, L. R. Magee, J. M. George, Whitney Anderson, Sloan Paxton, Lee Pope, Doyle Stephenson, L. S. Walker, and the hostess. Mrs. I. R. Hollingsworth and Mrs. R. C. Crosta of Denver, Colo., called during the tea hour. DINNER, THEATER PARTY HOSTESS Miss Margaret Jean Sampley was hostess to a group of her friends Friday evening, when she entertained at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Sampley. A two-course dinner, with all the appointments carried out in the Hallowe'en motif, was serv ed followed by the young ladies’ being guests of the hostess to the theater. The chosen motif was also used in the house decora tions. Guests were Misses Leona Rob inson, Joyce Bumpass, Mary Alice Tidwell, Helen Alma Coker, Sam mie Ruth Morley, Frances Lee Harris, Louise McLean, Lulu Lee Gregory, and Doris Garner.
