Guffln, age 70, passed away Wednesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mamie Stevens, southwest of Rush-vitte. She had been ailing from paralysis for about 17 months. She had been a lifelong resident of Rush county and was the widow of the late Ola F. Guffln.Mrs. Guffln was a member of the Christian church. Survivors besides Mrs. Stevens, are two children, Glen and Bernice Guffln; a brother, John Matney; and two sisters, Mrs. Ocea Williams and Mrs. Mary McNair.Funeral services for the deceased were held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Little Flat Rock Christian church with Rev. H. W. Mount in charge. Burial was made in East Hill cemetery.
