SHOT HIM DEALS.— lt;►■■■■■■' *Ellis Junction. Wis., Nor. 8.—[Special.] —Louis Klause was shot dead tins morning in the Forest bouse. Klause'and two friends called lit the house, which is kept by Peter Graf, early- and had a drink, when, it is alleged, Graf made some-remark- winch Klause did not like, and they had a few words. Klauae and-his friends left Grafs, but a little later Klause re- ; turned' to the house and the quarrel was renewed, the result being that Klause was. shot through’ the breast. Klause has relatives at Green Bay and Marinette who are well-to-do. He was a very popular man and was connected with H. Rahr Sons, brewers of Green Bay.Deputy Sheriff Henderson took Peter Graf to Marinette this afternoon. The inquest is still in progress. Graf will make a plea of self-defense. The remains of Klause were taken to Marinette by his relatives. 'Marinette, Wis., Nov. 3.—[bpceinl.]— Graf was arrested and brought to the county jail in this place this afternoon. Klause was about 30 years old and was well known here.
