The Devil in Lake Manitau Seen Again. *The beautiful Lake Manitau, laying fust east of Rochester, is said to be inhabited by a large serpent, of devil-like appearance, and from this fact the appellation of “Devil’s Lake” has been applied to it, and as such is known far and near.
