Thousands visit Trails during last two weekendsJ, D. Podgen reported a total of 790 adult visitors registered at the Hospitality Center during the Art and Craft Show weekend Oct. 24-25. This did not include children in the cars since only adult family members are registered or the hundreds of repeat visitors who no longer need directions for the tours but drive in and embark on the tours on their own.Last Sunday, Nov. 1, Mr. Podgen reported that he had 13 ladies helping at the center ami all were busy all the time. Since registration sheets got mixed up he was unable to make an accurate count of visitors.In addition to the usual visitors in cars, the city was host to four groups of visitors who arrived by chartered bus Saturday morning. Two of the buses carried 71 citizens who weretreated to a visit to the M. P. Carlock home and dinner at the Oarlock’s lake home on Lake Winnsboro.Other visitors included a Dallas Camera Club who visited the Forest Home Country Store and Trails Country in that area. The other bus carried a church group from Greenville who toured the area.Another bumper crop of visitors arrived Sunday afternoon to tour the five homes open for the annual pilgrimage. The e-vent is sponsored by members of the Business and Profession* al Women's Club who served as hostesses at the five home* open.Included also in the hundreds of visitors from the entire Ark* La-Tex who swarmed the are® was one large group of teens who drove in from Mesquite to make the tour*
