Mrs. Carrie Carlson of Stomingtoey ne visited her sister, Mrs. Nels berg a couple of days, last week. Ellis Holmes,Mr. Seller, Irene Han son and Gladys Hickey, aft of Baileys Harbor, visited Louis Hickey and | family last’ Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Christenson | toved ‘to Fish Creek last Sunday to see Mr. Christenson's mother, who has been very sick. William Reynard was called past Thursday to attend the funeral of his aunt, Mrs. Henry Erickson, Mrs.A. RR. Anderson ‘attended the funeral area. Clarence Chaudoir, who has been a member of the coast guard ‘station here for the past three years, has re signed and will take up some other work in Two Rivers or Milwaukee. The lighthouse men, Mr. Engberg, Mr. Hahn and Mr. Sterrett have start ed to build a large garage with room enough to ‘accommodate three’ cars. Robert Anderson just completed a new garage also. A Halloween party and box social was held at the school house last, Friday night and it was. 4 success dul every way. Much credit is due the teacher, Miss Virgl Potter, for the preparation made before hand. The children acted their parts well and it was a real spooky program, Elmer. Gallagher, one of the coast guards, was auctioneer and he did very well as the next sum of $35 was realized. The school board members, and teacher wish to extend their thanks to all who as stated In making them affair a suc cess.
