OCTOBER 6TH.\ *-Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Strong, 209 Frank street received the glad news yesterday that their son, Robert had been returned to the army after a few weeks absence.The official message was received from the War Department by the parents saying that their son returned to action, October 6th. The happiness of the parents was unbounded, and their many friends are rejoicing with them.It will be remembered tlia* the family received a message October 17th. stating that Robert Strong was reported missing in action on September 16. The message was followed by a lengthy communication telling the parents just what measures were being taken by the Red Cross and other organizations to find their son and in case that they did not. hear of his return to his company within a reasonable time, they were to communicate with the War Department and urge another search, which action was not necessary, on account of the prompt reply received.RusseH.
