The Christian Young People’s Union cordially invite all, old and young, to the “camp lire chat” at the M. E. church Monday eyening, Nov. 9 1896. The church will be open at 7 o’clock. The entertainment committee will gladly welcome each and everyone and will show views of many places visited by the Union, while on their tour to Palestine. The meeting will begin promptly at 7.30. Committee.MEMOIR.Harriet Adaline McPherson was born in Clabon county Tennessee, October 11, 1872. She was 24 years and 26 days old, and died Oct. 30, 1S96. She was married to Clinton McPherson May 4, 1890. Two children was born as a result of this union, one of these preceded the mother to the better home, about one Year ago, Mrs. McPherson was a great sufferer having been sick about two years, but she bore her sufferings in the spirit of Christian resignation, and died in the triumphs of a living faith, The funeral services were held in the M. E. churche of which she was a member, conducted by Eev. W. L. Cannon, at 11 o’clock Sabbath, and the remains were deposited in the Union Valley Cemetery, in the presence or a large company of friends.
