Alma Olson 735-2739 About Sheryl Harris: Pastor Hendrickson spoke to Mrs Harris and Sheryl is out of intensive care but she requires further tests, Merie Olson is home from hospital and doing well. A family dinner at Trinity Lutheran took the form of a Chinese dinner. A film was shown and there was a program of music by the children, Pastor and Mrs Hendrickson and their daughter Becki, sang a trio. 110 people turn ed out. It was very much enjoyed. The Christmas program has begun at Trinity. The Starbuck boys and girls 4-H club is having a bake and craft sale in the Credit Union Mall Nov. 7. If anyone is interested in lear ning to sew children's clothes, in cluding jeans, T shirts, pattern adaptations (i.e. growth pleats) and under pants, please contact Manitoba Agriculture 735-2421 or 2478 or call Janice Johnson 735- 2824. We will try to arrange for this course after Christmas. 4 lessons - $8.00 if anyone is interested in lear ning to do leather work please con tact the Starbuck Agricultural of fice 735-2421. Anyone from 14 years and up may do leather work. Please have your name in by Nov. 18 if you are interested. Helen Olson’s brother Sonny visited with Helen and also with his sister Irene Stewart, Ronald and Janice Lenz are happy to announce the birth of their baby girl, born Aug, 7, Jim and Erin Edwardson are happy to announce the birth of their baby girl, Jamie Lee. Mrs Signe Johnson is a great grandmother again. Her grand daughter Debbie from British Columbia, gave birth to a baby girl. The grandmother Agnes Harris is Signe’s daughter. We attended two silver wedding receptions, one for Bob and Biltien Anderson and one for Victor and Alvina Dyck. Sunday weekend of Oct. 26, Signe Johnson, Alice and John Johnson and Oscar Olson and I had a very lovely weekend. Myrtle Sunde, Ella Rice, Josie Neset and Mildred Skare, who are four of our cousins, came to visit from Moorhead and Detroit Lakes. Myrtle’s daughter Phyllis did the driving. We really enjoyed the weekend, Sunday Ron and Marlys Pearse and their three children, Rhonda, Beverly and Richard spent Sunday with Oscar Olsons. It was very en joyable. Romeo Saltis bakery is open t o prefer credulity to skepticism and cynicism, for there is more promise in almost anything than in nothing at all. Ralph Barton Perry
