Donations defray Dixon expensesThe REPORTER-REV1EW is very pleased with the response that we received regarding the Sheila Pettis FundFive-year old Sheila Pettis, 540 W. 117th St., was found strangled under an abondoned house near her home last month.Though we fell considerably short of our $1000 goal, we did raise $176.15 This, coupled with the unknown amount that our readers and concerned groups contributed directly to the Dixons, will defray all costs for which the fund was started.Last rites for Sheila were held on Monday, October 15, at Crooke’sFuneral Home. 4638 Indiana ave.
