Duckett, pastor of the Narka Presbyterian church, and the ceremony was duly performed, and the newlyweds, went on their way rejoicing, However, the officiating clergyman shortly discovered that the license had been issued in Jefferson county, Nebraska, and provided that the ceremony could only be performed in that county. Mr. Duckett immediately started in pursuit of the newly married couple and after an exciting chase finally overtook them and informed them of the circumstances and that the former ceremony, according to the license was not legally performed, and because of this fact, would have to be repeated.
