Jr., has been granted JO Jays in which to tile a bill of exception* in preperntion for nn appeal lit the supreme court.The case is one which has caused considerable interest throughout the county, and ends, ho far as Polk county is concerned the ttnnl effort of Davis to secure pardon for the lulling of Eliza J. Stewart at BalUton lust July. The Davis case was fought hard during the September term «»f court, but the jury's verdict was that of murder in the second degree.
