New York, Nov 4.The Eldorado Casino on the Heights of Weehawken, maide famous by the spectacular billets and performances managed by Imre Kiralfy, was destroyed by fire this morning. Nine persons were asleep in the casino at the time. They barely es caped in their night clothes. Rock Island Earnings, Chicago, Nov. 4—The net income of the Rock Island road for the month of September was $832,049 a decrease of $29,262 from the same month of last year. The net income of the road for the months ending Sept. 30 was $3,753,829, and increase of $337,185 over the net income of the corresponding months of the preceding fiscal year. The provincial attorney general has received orders from the governor general to investigate the situation. The order to the governor general came directly from Hon. Baltimore, Nov. 4—The Baltimore and Ohio railroad has ordered 2,000 freight cars from the Missouri Car and Foundry company of St Louis, making a total of 25,000 that have been pur chased in the past two years.
