joy.Mrs. Isalene Sunde buried FridayFuneral services for a former Thompson resident, Mrs. Isalene Sunde, 87, of Buffalo Center, were held at 1:30 p.m.. Friday, at the United Methodist Church in Buffalo Center. The Rev. Scott Woeste officiated.Music was provided by the organist, Mrs. Debra Ennen, and the vocalists, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Oster-mann. The congregation also sang two hymns, Amazing Grace and Now Thank We All Our God.Pallbearers were Doug Sunde, Wayne Anderson, Jim Murray, Larry Sunde, Jim Meyering and Todd Kiewiet.Burial was in Graceland cemetery at Buffalo Center with Winter Funeral Sendee in charge of arrange-s meats,iIsalene Sunde, a daughter of Thomas and Lenora (Jordon) McCrady, was born Sept. 2, 1901, in Coiydon, Inc. She moved withher family to the Thompson area during 1917.On April 29, 1921,, she was united in marriage to Jonas Sunde. They fanned near Buffalo Center for 40 years. They were members of Ellis Point Methodist Church where she served as pianist for many years. After that church closed, they became members of the United Methodist Church in Buffalo Center.Mr. Sunde died Aug. 12, 1968. For the past 10 years, Mrs. Sunde had been a resident of Timely Mission Nursing Home in Buffalo Center.She died on Tuesday (Oct. 25, 1988) at North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.Mrs. Sunde is survived by her three sons, Donald Sunde of Phoenix, Ariz., Eldon Sunde of Kies ter, Minn., and Dean Sunde, of Buffalo Center: four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Irma Thoden of Dakota City.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jonas; one son, Duane; and two sisters.ter to the Editor
