Worship Services To Be Built Around MusicRev. Armun Lalhrop of the Unfled Methodist Church of Desert Hot Springs wiil offer to the public Sunday, Nov. 6, at both 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. a service of worship built around music. There will be congregational singing, instrumental music and hymn stories back of some of everyone's favorite hymns.Guest artists sharing their ‘talent with local talent will be soloist Ethel Blancard of Los Angeles and Myron Cavender of Palm Springs. Both arc from Rev. LAthrop’s former church in Los Angeles. Mrs. Blancard studied in Washington D.C. and Florida. She has sung in several large churches in the cast and south. She isaffectionately called Song Bird by members of the church where she now sings. Myron Cavender has studied organ abroad in Switzerland ar.d the United Slates.Local talent helping*; to make this a great Sunday of Worship through music will include soloist Teresa Adams, instrumental and vocal duet Sidna and Don Pairwealher, soloist Harold Tutor, organist and pianist l.ucile Ridenour and Ruth Stedman and congregation.Friends and members of the local church have heen casting their ballot for their favorite hymn for the past few weeks..This is a must for those of you seeking a place to worshipthis Sunday.
