Yantis ServicesFor Kelcie RossKelcie Monroe Ross, 72, of Route 2, Quitman, died Sunday morning, October 31, in a Tyler hospital following a brief illness.Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 1, in the Yantis Baptist Church witht he Rev. Morris Hill Sr. and the Rev. Lee Emerson officiating.Burial in the Yantis Cemetery was under the direction of Cain Funeral Home, Quitman.Mr. Ross, born in Yantis, was a lifelong resident of Wood County. He was a retired district clerk of W'ood County and was a Baptist.He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lois Ross of Q jitman; four sons, Jimmy D RjfS of Midland, Keicie B. Ross of Quitman, Kieffer Ross of Denison, and Garland Ross of Mesquite; three daughters, Mrs. Martha Bridges of Quitman, Mrs. June Garmon of Miller Grove, and Mrs. Ann Bradt of Lake Dallas; one brother, R. L. Ross of Yantis; one sister, Mrs. Anna Belle Baxley of Mineola; 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.Grandsons were pallbearers.
