_ Completion of the north stub pier in the outer harbor was com pleted Tuesday, according to Col. A. P . Christopher, in charge of ‘the work. The project cost $55. The strip of the new pier is ‘all steel sheeting, 150 feet long, and has been filled with stone. The Manitowoc harbor project ‘also included the elevating of the north pier light tower to a height of a feet with the con struction of concrete founda tion. Work on the project was start ‘ed Sept. 1. Col. Christopher said that the ‘extensive pier rebuilding project l at Sturgeon Bay ship canal was ‘also completed Tuesday, permit the construction fleet to be ‘moved back from both ports to the winter quarters at Kewaunee
