HENRY COUNTY MENHONORED BY TEACHERSCounty Superintendent Odemveller Is Put on as Member of the Executive Board.At the meeting of the northwestern section of the Northern Illinois Teachers’ association at Rockford, three Henry county men were elected to office. Ray L. Bowen of Geneseo was elected treasurer and County Superintendent of Schools A. L. Odemveller and W. R. Curtis, superintendent of ICewanee schools, were named on the executive committee.One of the important actions at the meeting was the decision to divide the section into two divisions, one of which would contain the counties along the Rock Island road and the tributary electric lines. The new section will tpclude LaSalle, Bureau, Henry and Rock Island counties and as many other adjoining districts as will find it convenient to come to the conventions held in the main townsof this region.Henceforward, the teachers of this section of the county will have an opportunity to attend the State Teachers’ association every year instead of every other year as heretofore.Following are the officers elected for the Illinois Valley section for theensuing year.President—T.
