Honor to Whom Honor is Due.The Signal in its outrageous attacks upon Mr. Hartnett, the Democratic candidate for Auditor, attempts to give a list of positions formerly held by Mir. Hartrctt, but there Is one official position he held which It took particular pains not to mention. We refer to his position held in the union army, which speaks for Itself as follows, and which we And endorse*} upon his discharge: •'The within named Sergt. Daniel Hartnett, has been wounded twice. First at Spotsylvania, May Oth, 1804, In the arm, gun shot wound; second, at the Weldon Railroad, Aug. 19th, 1804, In the lev. bayonet wound.
