Alva CurticeAlva Benjamin Curtice, 69, a resident of Stanislaus County for 52 years and a farmer for 40 years, died Friday in a local hospital after a brief illness,A native of Washington, he was a member of the Turlock Grange 573 arid the Turlock Senior Citizens.A funeral, service will be held at 3:30. p.rti, tomorrow in the Franklin Downs Funeral Home, Inurnment will be in the Lakewood Memorial Park.Survivors are his widow, Blanche 0. Curtice, Modesto; children Everett Curtice, Eureka, Glenn Curtice, Modesto, Delbert Curtice, Delhi, and Evelyn Kusioiek, Illinois; stepchildren Joye Lema, Ha Costa, Johnny Francis and Annabel! Hanson; all ot Turlock, and Betty Vieira, Margaret Vieira and Rosie Francis, Modesto; brothers and sisters, Gerald Curtice, Donald Curtice, Orlina Ryan, Marjorie Curtice and Louise Snider, all of Modesto, Emery Curtice, Berkeley, James Curtice, Merced, Roscoe Curtice, Sonora, and Charlott Gibbons, Standard; 16 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 18 step-grandchildren and 8 great-step-grandchildren.
