Rapp, thft former Mary White of Ukiah, ar8 now established at their new home at 1280 Hoover street, Menlo Pftrk, following a honeymoon in Carmel. The home was done by the well known interior decorator, Mr*. AUce Flaher of Chicago.The couple were married Saturday, October 29, by Justice Grand-In Miller In his chambers in San joae. The witnesses were Mrs. Rapp’s aunt and uncle, Miss Almira ^ Ortley and Mr. William Ortley, and 1 K Miss Frances McCowen of Ukiah.The bride wore a teal blue wool afternoon dress with Burgundy ac- ® cessories end Golden Ermine coat. ‘ ** A luncheon followed at the Allied Arts club in '■Palo Alto, with the I £ following guests present: Miss Bar- a bara Miller of Palo Alto, Miss Frances McCowen of Ukiah, MissH_ Barbara Mayer of San Francisco, Miss Ann Bacon, Miss Ruth McLaughlin of South Pasadena, Miss June Birchard of San Francisco, Miss Doris Barrett of San Francisco, Messrs Harold Bloch of San Francisco, James McVeigh and Norf Jeppia of San Francisco, and Philip Joseph of Ukiah, and Miss Jane Lemmon of Palo Alto.Miss Mayer entertained at a kitchen shower and luncheon in San Francisco for the bride, and the Misses June Birchard, Ruth Me-Laugh]in and Ann Bacon gave a | 5 linen shower in her honor at Miss Birchard’s home at 1990 California ^ street in Son Francisco, both court-1 esies being extended prior to Mrs. Rapp's marriage.Mr. Rapp is employed with Guggenheim and company in San Francisco. He Is a native of Frankfurt, Germany, and is a graduate in chemistry from the University of Hamburg. He has also studied in Munich and Berlin.His parents were Mi . * and Mrs. Karl Rapp. Walter Rapp’s father | ( was a state civil engineer and was killed in action three months before the conclusion of the World War. Mrs. Karl Rapp is now living in Frankfurt. There are three brothers of the groom, one living in Sweden and two in Germany.The charming bride is the daughter of Mrs. J. Q. White and*the late] t judge J. Q.
