Three Wandering Lions Cross Canadian Line Into North DakotaRegina, Sask. Nov. 2—Without benefit of customs or immigration authorities, southeastern Saskatchewan’s three wandering lions were reported today to have crossed the border into North Dakota.Report reaching Saskatchewan was that the beasts had been sighted by a mail carrier near Kenmar, N. D. He was reported to have taken a shot atone of them.A light tall of snow throughout southern Saskatchewan Sunday is expected to aid in tracking down the animals.Search parties, organized by the mounted police around Oxbow and Cnrnouff, when the lions were first seen last week, have now disbanded but their members are keeping shotgun and rifle by the door, ready for another hunt if called.Lending support to the report that the beasts have taken to American territory is that received from North-gate, which lies right on the North Dakota border. A Norlhgate district woman said she had seen two lions west of the town.
