Adair Carss, of the 102nd battalion. Capt. Carss was well known in this city, where his family had lived for many years.It is a touching coincidence that the deaths of Capt. Carss and of Miss Cecelia Green, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Green, M.P., who had been engaged for some time, took place within a few days of each other, neither being aware of the passing of the other.J. H. Austin, aged 44, a prominent Victoria lawyer, has been killed in action in France.
