Alice did not tell her that she had taken the poison, but went with her to the home of her aunt, Mrs. Sylvester Defalco, No. 702 Spruce street, to dress for the party which was to be held at the residence of a friend, Miss McNeal, No. 220 French street.Alice wanted to dress as a cowboy, but her sister refused to allow her to do so.She complained of a burning sensation in her stomach and soon got deathly sick.
