Tim Barnett Hotel Opened.The New Barnett houao was formally opened last evening and tbo doors thrown wide open to the public. The proprietors invited everybody to come and see them, and the invitation was pretty generally accepted. The house was brilliantly illuminated and its many pointn of excellence were shown off to the best possible advantage. Messrs. A. Ii. and A. C. Harnett were on hands trying to make it pleasant for tbo im* mense crowd that “looked through”the building. The Logan Grey band discoursed several fine airs from the balcony and altogether the affair was quite a pleasant one. Everybody pronounces the nesv Barnett a success and one of the most complete hotel* in the west. On uext Thursday evening a grand ball will be given at the pouro In honor of the veteran landlord, A. H. Barnett. This reception is expected to be a splendid affair.
