N. Kunz of Curlew, became the bride of Joseph Max Dawson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Dawson of Rockwell, Iowa, at St. Mary’s Catholic church in Mallard last Saturday afternoon, October 27, at 2:00 o’clock. Rev. Francis Illg performed the double ring ceremony.The bride wore a gown of white satin, fashioned with a fitted bodice, laee yoke and high neckline, long pointed sleeves, and h full skirt ending in a junior train.Her fingertip veil of illusion net was attached to a circular lace headpiece. Her jewelry was a strand of pearls and she carried a colonial bouquet of red roses tied with white ribbon.Miss Margie Kunz, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Her gown of yellow net over satin was styled Bimilar to the bride’s. She carried a colonial bouquet of mixed flowers.Mrs. Gerald Dawson of Cedar Rapids, sister-in-law of the groom, was bridesmaid and was gpvynpd ip pink satjn. Her flgwers were mixec} and arranged in a colonialbouquet.*The groom was attired in a gray suit, while the best man and attendant, Marvin Vosberg of Mason City aud Gerald Dawson, brother of the groom, wore light brown and blue business suits.
