The Real Issue! In fact the ONLY issue in the Fifth District Congressional Campaign is— “Do you want to go back to the OLD DEAL, or do you want to continue to go for ward with the NEW DEAL and Franklin D. Roosevelt?” If you want to go back, vote for Lloyd Thurston, of Osceola, Clarke County, who says he cannot support your President. If you want to go forward and give your President an oppor tunity to complete his recovery Program, then vote for ERNEST H. FABRITZ (of Ottumwa, Wapello County) Fabritz will uphold Franklin D. Roosevelt and his policies. He will co-operate with your President in completing the program he has so nobly begun. Whether the message to Washington, D. C. on Nov. 6th will be one of appreciation or one of rebuke depends on you.
