John Poland, father of Mrs. E. P. Finch here, met death very suddenly at Indianapolis Saturday evening by accidentally falling off a fast moving street car just as it was turning a curve, the fall breaking his neck. The car being loaded with passengers, he was standing on the mounting board and was in the act of paying his fare when the car struck the curve. E. P. and Mrs. Finch went over there Sunday morning. The re-inaiuB ware brought here Tuesday morning and interred in the I. 0. 0. F. cemetery
