Among the relatives who accompanied the remains and attended the funeral of John Poland here Tuesday were Geo. and Mart Poland, his brothers; Mrs. Foltz, a sister; son Claude and daughter Rhoda; Mrs. Wm. Younger, a daughter, and her husband; Fred Poland, a nephew, and his wife; all of Indianapolis; and Mrs. W. J. Donovan, a daughter, and her husband, of Chicago. The deceased was well known here, having been a former resident ofJamestown for about 25 years, and was at one time in the hotel buai-inesB here and at another time in the livery business and also in the stock buying business. He was a little past 60 yearB of age. A later report informs us he was standing on the car platfrom when it struck the curve
