OC0RRESP0NDENCES.ODemocrats Attention.The Madison township Democratic caucus to nominate candidates for township officers will take place Saturday evening, at 7 o’clock, November 4th, 1882, at the Richardson School House. A lull attendance is desired.Jefferson Township Caucus.The democrats of Jefferson township are requested to meet at the Brick School House, on Saturday, November 4th, at 7 o’clock p. m., for the purpose of nominating a township ticket and transacting such other business as may be neccessary.By Ordeh Committee.—There will be a meeting of the demo-crats of Green Bay township at Jollyvtlle school house Nov. 4th, at G o’clock p. m., to nominate a township ticket. A general turnout is expected. T. J. Jarvis.By order of committee.Montrose.Montrose, Oct. 23,1882.Montrose seems to be getting her share of prosperity, building houses, repairing old ones, overhauling streets,bridge's, c., with an increase of population since 1880 of nearly three hundred.The well known, enterprising firm of Healy, Felt and White are doing an extensive lumber business, under the supervision of the energetic and experienced men 8. T. Staysa and It. E. Rogers, with the gentlemanly and accomodating clerk Mr. Pitmau. Mr. Carter, the reteil clerk, has all he can do with his coat off. They are working about 180 men, all happy. They are cutting a daily average of 100,000 feet of lumber, 2G,00u lath and 70,u00 shingles.
