Small Pox.—The, Board of Health have run ilie disease out of town, The individuals, or *iome of them that have been in the Pest House say they would rather have the variloid, than the prairie itch. A great deal of pains have been taken by the friend!# of Milwaukee in neighboring towns to exaggerate the facts in relation to he number of cases per day in our village. It has been asserted for fact, that folt;ty have died per day here. Taking' every case in town, and the number will be less than 30 that have had the disease—and not over five have died. The business of our village may haveb-*en injured by such stories—bi t our streets show considerably activity and bustle. With the immense stocks of Goods which the Mi!wau£te merchants have purchased, arid the low prices at which they are offered, it is impossible to injure the trade of the place. If the Small Pox again occurs, the citizens of the village are prepared to act with promptness to prevent its spreading.
